Since her arrival at the Club, Karen has been dedicated to promoting wellness to all members, enabling them to enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle and have fun in the process. She works holistically with VGCC department heads to promote all aspects of wellness to the community, from physical fitness to social, environmental, intellectual, spiritual and career/financial well-being. Karen is a certified swim coach, water safety instructor, national lifeguard, speed and agility coach, yoga instructor, senior fitness specialist, and golf conditioning specialist. She holds certifications in personal training, sports conditioning and sports nutrition from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Red Cross instructor. An accomplished triathlete, Karen regularly competes in swimming, cycling and running events -- motivating and inspiring our members in the process.
